Greetings,
This
week we reflect, mostly in pictures, on our Class of
2015 commencement weekend.
We
were honored to hear from featured speakers, former
Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and retired NASA
astronaut Captain Mark Kelly and our student-elected
speakers Trevor Hill and Heather Goodwin. Altogether,
the vibe at McKale was magical!

Commencement,
Saturday, May 16
One hundred and
eighty-three degrees were conferred to graduating law
students, with 149 students earning the Juris Doctor
degree.
Twenty seven more received advanced law
degrees in the specialty areas of Indigenous peoples law
and policy (IPLP) or international trade and business
law (ITBL).
Seven received the new Master of
Legal Studies (MLS) diploma, a degree intended for those
who do not need to practice law, but want to advance
professionally with foundational legal
education.
Four undergraduate students -- the
first to graduate with the nation's only Bachelor in Law
degree -- were recognized at the ceremony and formally
received their degrees at the UA's commencement on
Saturday afternoon. Read more here.
