Conversations with Bob Mundheim Speaker Series


Event: 2026 Conversations with Bob Mundheim

When: Monday, January 26 – Monday, March 30, 2026; see schedule for details

Where: The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, 1201 E. Speedway Blvd.


The annual speaker series from professor of Corporate Law and Finance Robert Mundheim, Conversations with Bob Mundheim, returns this semester and welcomes its first guest on Monday, January 26.  


Mundheim moderates informal conversations with national leaders in business and law, relating their experiences in and perspectives about corporate governance, markets, ethics and career development.


Registration is required; please RSVP to Mary Steed at marywsteed@arizona.edu to reserve your spot, specifying which conversation(s) you would like to attend.

Bacon Immigration Law & Policy Program Speaker Series


Event: Incarceration and Deportation Without Due Process: Its Origins, What Is Happening Now, and What Can Be Different

The Bacon Immigration Law & Policy Program and Immigration Law Students Association (ILSA) invite you to participate in the Bacon Program’s interactive speaker series featuring Kari Hong, appellate attorney for the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project.


For 30 years, Hong has been an immigration attorney, law professor and immigration advocate. She has represented more than 500 non-citizens, including more than 300 people before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her scholarship and commentary have been featured in many national outlets, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, SCOTUS Blog and CNN.

Hosted by the University of Arizona College of Law’s William H. Rehnquist Center, the National Conference of Constitutional Law Scholars creates a vibrant and useful forum for constitutional scholars to gather and exchange ideas. This conference is free to attend for University of Arizona Law students, faculty and staff.

Hire LawCats: Employer Deadlines Approaching for Spring Interview Programs

The Career Development Office (CDO) is preparing for the spring recruiting season. Employers including firms, corporate legal departments, government agencies and nonprofit organizations are invited to participate in interview programs happening in the 2026 spring semester:


Sonoran Public Sector Interview Program


Employer registration deadline: Jan. 15

In-person interviews: Feb. 12

Virtual interviews: Feb. 13


Registration is closing tomorrow for the Sonoran Public Sector Interview Program. Government, public interest and nonprofit organizations are welcome to interview for positions including summer 2026 positions, post-graduate positions to begin in fall 2026 and for-credit externships for fall 2026. Employers also can register for midday table talks with JD, LLM and MLS students.


2026 Law Grads Interview Program


Employer registration deadline: Feb. 26

In-person interviews: Mar. 26

Virtual interviews: Mar. 27


All employers are invited to interview 3Ls, recent alumni and LLM students for post-graduate positions, including some candidates who will have sat for the February 2026 bar exam.
